Brief annotation of the lesson

This lesson is aimed to develop students’ integrated skills (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking). The interesting theme and the appropriately chosen material by the teacher will help the participators to develop their all language skills with the help of the teacher.

Theme: How old are bicycles?

Aims:

Educational: - to learn about the bicycle history;

- to learn how to say years and put them in chronological order.

Developing: - to enable pupils to say years and put them in chronological order (integrating with subject Math);

- to enable pupils to read for the main ideas and detailed information and listen for specific information.

Type of the lesson: Mixed, group work, pair-work, individual work

Method of the lesson: nontraditional, mixed

Equipment of the lesson: Textbook “New Fly High 6”, pictures, internet, computers, projector
