Abstract:
This article is devoted to problem of using PPP while teaching foreign languages.
Despite the definition of this very method there are various examples of this method in
this very article .The stages of this very clearly described and demonstrated. Both positive
and negative sides are shown and explained.These very sides are carefully analyzed. Being
criticized for a long time the method of Presentation Practice and Production is still popular
among EFL teachers.
Key words: 
PPP, EFL teaching, advanced pedagogy, criticism, teacher-centered,
learnercentered, the context, methodologists, CELTA,EFL instructors. 
The Presentation-Practice-Production (PPP or 3P) method is considered to be rather popular 
among EFL instructors because it is straightforward and not problematic to use.In fact, the PPP 
method follows common sense and does not demand much advanced pedagogy.The majority of 
people have used some variation of the PPP method to learn at some point in their lives. And 
while the PPP method has its critics, its elegance as a foundation cannot be denied.It is even 
the recommended system in Cambridge’s Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults 
(CELTA) to make sure students understand the context, and to get them thinking about it You 
could elicit ideas or suggestions from students, get them talk to each other about what they know or 
think about the situation, etc. This also helps them start to remember the language and vocabulary 
they already know about the topic (or ‘activate the schemata’, if you want the fancy term for 
it) .
