Objectives: letting students to notice and practice prepositions and their usage
Level: A 2
Teacher instructions:
let students work individually this time
ask them to identify prepositions and why they have been used in this way
distribute the handouts (see appendix 2)
Students directions:
work individually
try to find all the prepositions in the passage
try to find out why they have been used with these nouns
Critical analysis of the activity
This time also students are got to notice the grammatical features of Prepositions by observing the meaning and context of them. In this way students will literally get advance notice of forthcoming and more productive work, rather than being required to instantly produce and manipulate new and unfamiliar language (Batstone, 1994).

Activity 3
Objectives: SWBAT practice the target language focusing on form
Teacher instructors:
provide the learners with the table (appendix 3) which shows a table quiz
Divide them into 4-5 mini groups in which they will notice the grammatical features.
Later each group will tell other groups why do they think these sentences belong to those types of tenses
Regulate the groups while they are noticing and discussing the topic
Student instruction:
work in groups
decide what is the exact time of the action in the sentence
try to find out it according to the context
Critical analysis of the activity.
The most distinguishing aspect of the activity is that it lets learners to notice the grammar point by focusing on the meaning. And after noticing they will have an opportunity to reflect what they have learnt on their own.
Activity 4
Objectives: SWBAT notice the sequence of the events which happened in the story by observing the meaning
SWBAT use the form they have noticed in their speeches
Teacher instructions:
tell students that they are going to work in groups of 4 or 5
Distribute the handouts (see appendix 4) which have a couple of sentences on it
Tell students to find what has happened first according to the meaning of the sentences.
Critical analysis of the article
In the activity. Students are provided a couple of sentences which is one of them in past simple while the other is in past perfect. Students should find the time log of the events by looking at the time expressions before, after etc.
