My Specialty:
- What is a specialty? Specialization is a method of production in which the enterprise focuses on the production of limited goods in order to obtain a higher level of efficiency. For example, many countries specialize in the production of goods and services that are specific to their part of the world, which they exchange for other goods and services. Thus, this specialization forms the basis of world trade, as few countries have sufficient production capacity to be fully self-sufficient. MAIN PRODUCT Business specialization involves focusing on a single product or a limited product range to increase efficiency. Specialization can increase productivity and provide a comparative advantage for a firm or economy. Microeconomic specialization includes individual entities and economic components, while macroeconomic specialization includes the broad dominance of the economy in production. Understanding the specialty A specialization is an agreement within a team, organization, or large group in which each of the most appropriate members for a particular activity assumes responsibility for its successful completion. Microeconomic specialization Specialization can occur both at the microeconomic level and at the macroeconomic level. At the individual level, specialization usually takes the form of a career or labor specialization. For example, each member of an organization or economy has unique talents, abilities, skills, and interests that enable him or her to perform specific tasks. Labor specialization takes advantage of these unique talents and places people in areas where they achieve the best results, which helps both the individual and the economy as a whole. If, for example, one person excels in mathematics but is not a skilled writer, it will benefit both the individual and the team if he or she takes up a field that relies on mathematics.
Motivation for Automation - Automation is the key to shorter work week – working hours per week reduces, and allowing more leisure hours and a higher quality of life.
- Automation brings safer working conditions for workers.
- Automated production results in lower prices and better products
- Automation decreases errors made by humans
What is the automation and management of production of technological processes? - Automation is one of the areas of scientific and technological progress, the use of self-regulatory technical means, economy-mathematical methods and control systems, the release of a person from direct participation in the processes of obtaining, converting, transmitting and using energy, materials or information. It requires additional application of control devices using electronic techniques and computational methods that copy the human's nervous and mental functions.
- Automation of the technological process is a set of methods and means designed to implement systems or systems that allow the management of production interaction without direct human participation.
- Automated:
- • Production processes;
- • designing;
- • organization, planning and management;
- • Scientific research;
- • training;
- • business processes;
- • and other areas of human activity.
Elements of Automation Systems - A controller
- tells the actuator to do the task
- can be digital and analog
- makes the system as digital and analog
Elements of Automation Systems - A sensor
- provides feedback to the controller so that it knows the actuator is doing the task
- senses system output
- can be used to detect conditions of the environment
Manufacturing processes Manufacturing processes - An example for closed loop control system
