Your child has been offered a position on a LA Galaxy South Bay team for the 2016-2017 season. By signing this agreement you accept that offer and agree to the following policies.
One Season Commitment
The term of this agreement is the 2016-2017 season:

2009 – 2003: the season begins March 1, 2016 and continues through February or March 2017*

2002: the season begins on March 1, 2016 and continues through April 2017*

2001 – 1998: the season begins June 1, 2016 and continues through April or May 2017*
* End of the season is dependent on the player’s age group and/or success of the player’s team in State or National Cup and/or National Championship Series.
At the end of the season the player’s commitment to the club is complete and they are free to play for another team. At that same time the club’s commitment to the player is complete, and the player must try out again if they wish to play for the following year’s team.
Club Services and Dues
Players typically receive three hours of training per week except for team or club breaks; 10 or more league games; many hours of coaching at friendlies, league games, and tournaments; insurance; and the opportunity to participate in additional specialized training. In order to provide these services, your dues are used to pay for
(1) Coaching for team games and training sessions; (2) field rental, maintenance, coordination and lighting; (3) coaching management, including Directors of Coaching and Age Group Coordinators; (4) club overhead (website and online registration, administration, accounting, insurance, registrar and related fees and expenses, and more); (5) SCDSL or equivalent league fee and Cal South player / team registration services; (6) goalkeeper and other specialized trainers; (7) one tournament (LAGSB Coastal Classic or an approved substitute); (8) tickets to two (2) LA Galaxy games and club pre-game event, and (9) For new players: base uniform, which includes 2 tops, 1 short, and 1 pair of socks.
Club fees do not cover additional apparel such as backpacks or sweats. Each team also pays for its own tournament fees, SCDSL referee costs, travel, and other similar expenses – this amount is calculated and handled by each team’s manager, not the club.
Payment
Payment amounts by age group, and optional payment schedules, are attached as a separate page. Failure to make payments when due may result in suspension from training and / or games until payments are current.
Refunds
There are three cases where refunds will be given:
1) Season Ending Injury: A Season Ending Injury is defined as an injury that requires a rehabilitation period of six (6) months or longer. If a player suffers a Season Ending Injury the player will receive a refund of any pre-paid Club fees based upon a prorated fee schedule. A note from a medical doctor (MD) will be required.
2) Failure to form a team: if the team does not have the minimum number of players required for league play by July 31, the club will make every effort to place players on other teams in the club. If it is unable to do so, it will refund fees on a prorated basis.
3) If the player permanently moves out of Los Angeles or Orange Counties.
There will be no refunds of any fees if the player decides to leave the Club or is removed from the Club due to disciplinary reasons.

My child will play for LA Galaxy South Bay for the 2016-2017 season. I agree to the above policies as well as the “Club Policies and Guidelines” posted on the LA Galaxy South Bay website (please read them!).
