Module: Writing Topic: Writing narratives Lesson: Planning narratives. Time: 80 minutes. Aims: ~To develop students’ imagination and ability to describe. ~To improve their writing skills. Warm up: 20 minutes. Procedure: Ask students to work in 4 or 6 groups, distribute pictures to them they should write a short story using that picture. ~Introduce the topic of the lesson which is writing narratives.
Activity 1 Distinguishing adverbs and adjectives according to their types. Objective; To help students to increase their vocabulary. Time: 15 minutes. Materials: Handout 1. Procedure: Ask students to work in pair. Distribute handouts for them they should put adverbs and adjectives into the correct box.

Procedure Ask students to do followings from the text. ~Number the paragraphs in their correct box. ~Put the punctuation. ~Underline the phrases which are used to describe the senses as well as the time
