Introduction
It is common sense that, the English language is considered as a global language owing to the wide range of utilizing throughout the world. In seventy countries English has an official status as a first or second language. According to the Open University, “about 700 million people speak English as a foreign language”1. From the given numbers, we can easily comprehend the influence and common usage of the language.
The degree of learning English in Uzbekistan has increased over two decades hugely. A great attention is being paid to teach and learn widely throughout Uzbekistan. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Miromonivich chaired a video conference on 6 May on measures to improve the system of teaching foreign languages. “It is time to launch a new system of foreign language teaching, which will be solid foundation for the future”.2 At the meeting, the problems in the system were analyzed in detail and priorities were identified. Organizing this kind of conference and making alters in learning foreign languages is a sign of wide range of opportunities in the country.
Obviously, analyzing more about English, its role and influence is an urgent work in the language sphere. It is clear that, there are four main skills in English: speaking, listening, reading and writing. In course work teaching listening skill to a2 level learners, theory issues, problems that are faced by young learners and solutions and strategies for dilemmas will be analyzed in the below.
