Today we are going to talk about one of the main 

parts of the professional development. It includes 

activities which  improve identity, develop talents, 

enhance quality of good life, contributes to realization 

of dreams and aspiration. Have you already guessed 

what the topic is? Well, the topic of the day is personal 

development.  If a person has abilities of building or 

renewing self-esteem, spiritual development, initiating 

a life enterprise or personal autonomy, defining and 

executing personal development plans, improving 

social abilities, they will achieve their goal. Personal 

development is beyond improving oneself and  helps 

others to develop professionally as well. It is a field of 

practice and research. For example, famous scientists 

like Beruni, Ibn Sino, Al-Khorazmi, Akhmad Al-

Farghoni, Mirzo Ulugbek, Ali Kushchi, invented, 

created something  by practicing and striving for the 

truth. All our ancestors being professional in their 

fields  at  the  same  time,  they  managed  to  develop 

science and. If we speak about Akhmad Al Farghoni, 

he also passed many steps of ladder in his life and 

his precious work “The Principles of Astronomy”   

came in handy to many scientists to carry out their 

researches. 

From the psychological point of view personal 

development, as scientist Daniel Levinson (1920–

1994)  stated,  is  largely  influenced  by  aspirations, 

which he called «the Dream». For example, a young 

man develops professionally achieving  his ambitions.  

According to Bandura people become professional 

when  they  gain      self-confidence.    He  takes  into 

consideration the following points: it allows you to 

take risks and set challenging goals, it helps you keep 

trying if at first you don’t succeed, it helps you control 

emotions. In conclusion, we can say that personal 

development is connected with different factors and is 

hugely influenced by motivation of a person to grow 

personally and professionally.
