Annotation
: This article reveals the Impact and significance of uzbek folklore in 
the upbringing of younger generation, in particularly in growing imaginative and 
cognitive skills. 
Key words
: fiction, reading, , merits of uzbek reading, shine examples of uzbek 
books, roots of reading decline ,opinions of famous uzbek writers in terms of 
importance uzbek literature. 
Nowadays, absence of reading have been astonishingly rife. Whilst there is no 
doubt that benefits of reading is obvious, in sculpting of children behavior it has 
given the way for other aspects. 
The ravaging phenomenon called consist of numerous patterns, however, there 
several major reasons:

Intense competition prospering in our world. Guardians and parents who are 
responsible for baby’s upbringing have been spending their time to work in order 
to feed their family ,thereby losing valuable time on occupation instead of 
behaving their offspring and instilling them love to reading 
• 
a modify in the political system, a significant expansion of freedoms for 
the individual led to the expansion of the range of fiction in terms of 
genres, authors, content, which led, among other things, to a reduce in the 
quality level of works that are in demand among modern readers, but fail 
to carry out the function of fiction as a means of developing a person's 
personality 
• The modify in the socio-cultural situation in the country, the development 
of cinematography and television has expanded the forms of leisure for 
the modern Russian, who do not have sufficient time for reading, which 
requires time, thoughtfulness and reflection.

In the process of family readings of uzbek literature and in particulary 
uzbek 
folklore 
, both psychological and social functions of communication 
are realized.

Books will help your children learn to think and fantasize. 
2.
Uzbek books are able to instill inherited values from generation to 
generation values in children that they will carry through their whole life. 
3.
If parents are able to pay such attention to children, they know that you 
love them. 
4.
Reading for uzbek books children makes them patriots in the future. 
5.
Uzbek books are so well written and well designed that they will be 
interesting even for adults. 
6.
Illustrations in books enrich children, contribute to their creative 
development.

Reading aloud promotes the development of attention in your child.

Sooner or later, you will definitely be thanked for a smart and well- 
mannered child, both of which might be appropriate and marched with 
Uzbek standards . 
Folklore is of great importance in the mental development of children.

Qahhor, Babarakhim Mashrab, Hamid Ismailov, Jahongir Mamatov 
passionately defended folklore.[1] 
A.Kadyri wrote: "A child can only learn non-conventional sounds by learning 
his native language, he drinks spiritual life and strength from the native breast 
of his native word. It explains nature to him as no naturalist could explain it; it 
introduces him to the character of the people around him, to the society 
among which he lives, to his history and aspirations, as no historian could 
introduce him; it introduces him to folk beliefs, to folk poetry, as no 
aesthetician could introduce him; it finally gives such logical concepts and 
philosophical views, which, of course, no philosopher could have 
communicated to a child."[2] 
Fairy tales are designed to bring into the system the pedagogical roles of 
riddles, proverbs and songs.

called the fairy tales of the 
Uzbek people the first brilliant attempts of folk pedagogy. According to

psychological impact on the child; he resolutely keep the folk tale over the 
stories published in the educational literature specifically for children. The 
variety of poetic forms and the content of songs, fairy tales, riddles and 
proverbs indicates that folk pedagogy, defining the features of a perfect 
personality, simultaneously took care of the realization of the ideal of a 
perfect person. Folklore develops a child's verbal speech, influences his 
spiritual development, his imagination. Each genre of children's folklore has 
an impact on the mental development of the child. 
Epic 
is a heroic 
narrative of events that took space in ancient times. Song lyrics are d when 
the baby is still very young. The song lyrics comprise chastushki, jokes, 
pestushki, tongue twisters, counting. All of them are aimed at the 
development of speech, hearing, attention in children, therefore, a direct 
impact on mental education. Thus, the introduction of a baby to folk culture 
begins early childhood, the basic concepts and examples of behavior are 
laid. Cultural heritage is passed down generation to generation, developing 
and enriching the child's world. 
Folklore 
is a unique means for the 
transmission of folk wisdom, the development and upbringing of a baby at 
the initial stage of his development, mental education.[3] 
As we know that the 
epic 
is the most developed in Uzbek folklore; there 
are over two hundred epic poems, many legends, as well as epic songs, 
etc
. Nasreddin Afandi's 
satirical brief stories exposing khans and bais are 
popular. It is noteworthy that there is number national and geographical 
limitation in verbal folk art: people of different nations and countries show 
up in it 
— Chinese, Iranian, Turkmen, Negro, etc. ("Farhad and Shirin", 
"Kunduz Yulduz"). The hero of the folk epic is not only a man, but also a 
woman, whose image is devoid of sentimental features: hand in hand with 
a man, she fights against oppressors for her liberation. The people in the 
works of Uzbek folklore are always depicted in the struggle against hostile 
forces - evil spirits, dragons - in whose images the people's ideas about 
oppressors are symbolically expressed. Heroes always beat the enemy. 
The more ancient works of Uzbek folklore comprise a cycle of epic poems: 
"Ker-ogly" and the poem "Alpamysh". The cycle of heroic poems "Ker- 
ogly", the most favorite poem is "Ravshan-Khon"; the best folk poets have 
processed it for many centuries. This is a poem about the transformative 
power of love, it's permeated with deep optimism. The poem "Alpamysh", 
which appeared, according to some Uzbek folklorists, ten centuries ago, 
has entered the folklore of all the peoples of Central Asia. "Alpamysh" is a 
poem about courage, bravery, bravery and hatred of enemies. It abounds 
in witty aphorisms, vivid metaphors, and is full of colorful landscapes. The 
poem testifies to the richness of the Uzbek language

In conclusion, Positive main characters, responsive and kind, are very 
important for kids. They are born and brought up in a modern developed 
information society, which is developing technically, but is emotional, rude 
and aggressive, and sometimes simply hostile. The main tasks of 
psychological and pedagogical work can be solved only if a strong and 
sustained interest in fiction is created, since it will contribute to the 
development of children's attention to what they are told and read.
