Researcher A. Uralov noted that the planned solution of the Sopollitepa fortress, built 
in the second half of the XV century, was an outer square (82x82 m), the inside of 
which was based on a drawn circle, ie two mutually compatible dynamic squares and 
a labyrinth. Along the space between the outer and inner squares, the castle rooms are 
arranged in a maze style. The inner square marked the level of the open courtyard. The 
ratio of the inner square yard side to the outer square side is obtained in the ratio 1:, 
i.e., the ratio of the square side to the diagonal. This irrational proportion was achieved 
in a 5: 7 ratio by converting the whole number to a simple ratio by the modular method 
during the construction process6 (Figure 4). In this case, the square yard side was equal 
to 5 modules, and the difference between the inner and outer squares was equal to 1 
module. Thus, the module used in the Sopolli-tepa fortress was the distance between

the outer and inner walls, i.e. 1/7 of the outer wall side (82: 7 = 11.7 m). If we convert 
this to the size of the compensation (average 29.3 cm - Roman feet), one module yields 
40 compensation or its doubling, i.e. 20 gases (two compensation is equal to one gas)

Thus, it is possible to draw the following final 
conclusion from the above historical data. 
At the end of the second half of the IX century 
- beginning of the VIII century BC, as a result 
of migration of the agricultural population 
from Northern Bactria to the left bank of the 
middle part of the Amudarya, it was the 
capital 
of 
the 
microdistrict 
covering 
Odoydepa. 
In the second half of the 7th century BC - 4th 
centuries 
BC, 
new 
generations 
of 
Odoydepaliks widely used the architectural 
style in housing construction as a result of 
mastering the right and left borders of the 
Amudarya 
in 
order 
to 
continue 
the 
architectural knowledge of their ancestors in 
new territories. 
The architectural image of the dwellings is shaped by the general architectural elements 
of the square, rectangular, circular, and circular plan structure. 
The use of different architectural styles in the construction of Bazarkala, Yanbashkala, 
Kuykyrylgankala preserves the architectural and exact sciences of the craftsman-
engineer at a high level.

The first historical art of architectural construction of Bazarkala dates back to the last 
period of Achaemenid rule. The second construction period is related to Forzmon's 
activities. 
The architectural construction of Bozorkala, Yanbashkala, Kuykyrylgankala made a 
worthy contribution to the development of the Khorezm School of Architecture.
