INFORMATION:
This year the Lycoming County Police Camp Cadet program will be held at the Little League World Series complex located on Route 15 in South Williamsport from Sunday June 15^th through Friday June 20, 2014. Only a total of 100 cadets will be selected for appointment and we receive more applications than we can accept. As a result, a Board of Selection will meet after the interviews and they will review all applications. You will be notified as to the results. If you are selected you will be required to pass a physical examination, by your physician, at your own expense.

There is a $20.00 registration fee that is to be paid only after you have been selected. DO NOT send this payment now.

Camp Cadet is designed to bring a better understanding between the youth of Lycoming County and police officers and to create a lasting impression that police officers are their friends. Camp Cadet provides an atmosphere of a police academy. Emphasis is placed on self-discipline.

Cadets will have the opportunity to participate in tactical team exercises, crime scene processing, BMX bike riding, archery, and swimming in the pool. They will also get to meet, talk with, and get to know Police Officers, State Troopers, the District Attorney, Sheriffs, and other members of the law enforcement community.

This is the application form for the 2014 Lycoming County Police Camp Cadet program. If you are interested in attending, please complete the application located at the bottom. After you have completed the application, detach it, and mail it in. Keep the top part of this form for future reference. THE APPLICATION MUST BE RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE WEDNESDAY April 2, 2014.

******In addition, you will be required to attend an interview that will be held at the Little League World Series facilities on Saturday, April 5, 2014 between the hours of 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The Little League complex is located on Route 15 in South Williamsport. Interviews will be held in the activity room located on the second floor of the dining hall. This building is located directly behind the Little League Museum. Park in the museum lot, the lot behind the museum or the parking lot located off Fairmont Avenue.
