Tunis Roberts was born in PA in October 1832. He married Keziah, who was born in PA about 1836. The family is first listed in Calhoun County WV in the 1880 Federal census of that County. Apparently, they had lived in Green County PA for some years before coming to Calhoun County, since the Calhoun county WV list some of their children as having been born in Greene County. Tunis is listed as a widower in the 1900 Calhoun census, indicating Keziah had died prior to that enumeration.

George H. Roberts, a son of Tunis and Keziah Roberts was born in

Greene County PA about 1859 and seems to have died in Calhoun County WV between 1897 and 1900. He married Vashti Wilt in Calhoun County VA July 16, 1882. Vashti, a daughter of Mary Wilt, was born in WV in July 1863. The 1900 Calhoun County WV census lists her as a widow, a head of a household and the mother of 6 children, all living.

Laken W. Roberts, a son children of Tunis and Keziah Roberts, was born in Green County PA in February 1861. He married Eliza Jane Nicholas in Calhoun County WV April 9, 1890. Eliza, a daughter of Daniel and Jane (Dye) Nicholas, was born in Calhoun County in June 1861.

James Madison Roberts, a son of Tunis and Keziah Roberts, was born in Greene Country PA in April 1865. He married Cora Bigler in Calhoun County WCV September 28, 1889. Cora, a daughter of George W. and Sarah Bigler, was born in PA in July 1872. Apparently, Cora died after 1900. James married Ella Mathews in Calhoun County July 13, 1918.

John H. Roberts, a son of Tunis and Keziah Roberts, was born in Geeene County PA in November 1869. He married Barbara Whipkey in Calhoun County WV Nov 16, 1890. Barbara, a daughter of Jacob and Mary Whipkey, was born in Calhoun County in April 1871. The 1900 Calhoun County census notes they had been married 10 years and Barbara was the mother of 5 children with 4 living.

Wilma Grace Roberts, a daughter of Lowell Kenneth and Sarah Ethel (Vanhorn) Roberts, was born in Gilmer County WV in 1932 and died in Wood County WV September 26, 2014. She married Gerald Edward Roberts, who preceded her in death. Her second husband is Ricky Leon Brannon, who survives.

She is buried in the Collins Cemetery at Stumptown, V.
