METHODOLOGY
Respondents and Sampling Procedure
A sampling frame for this study is constructed from the Arabic international schools in
Malaysia. A random sampling technique was used to generate the samples for data collec-
tion. A total of 200 high school students constituted the sample of the study. The survey
was administered via online using google form. In designing the survey, several instru-
ments verified by prior researchers were exploited. The questionnaire contained five sec-
tions: demographic information, students’ attitudes towards the use of SNSs, students’
skills in using digital technologies, uses of SNSs for learning purposes, and language skills
improved using SNSs. Each part of the constructs comprised 12 items. The questionnaire
