LESSON 1. THE PATH TO PROSPERITY
On the way to the development of an independent democratic state, a lot has been done over this period of time, but Uzbekistan does not stop at what has been achieved and continues to make rapid strides forward. Its own system of gradual transition to a market economy was developed. A national currency, a coat of arms, a national anthem and a flag was created.
Since the very beginning of the formation of an independent state, Uzbekistan has been recognized by more than 100 countries. Uzbekistan is a state with its unique history and culture. Annually more than one hundred thousand tourists dream to visit this country to enjoy the country's views, get acquainted with the history and culture, and also to see the hospitality of the Uzbek people. The value of significant achievements achieved during the past period, in building a new, democratic state and civil society.
Over the years of independent development, the country has achieved stable economic growth. Due to the implementation of its own model, Uzbekistan has become industrialized, powerful modern state with a rapidly growing economy and high potential. As a result of deepening reforms, aimed at creating a favorable business environment, modernization, technical and technological renewal of production, in the last years, the growth rate of the gross domestic product of the country has been comprising .
The achievements clearly showcase Uzbekistan as a prosperous state, which is capable to effectively address the issues of security, improve the well-being, social protection, cultural and spiritual development. Starting its own independent path in very tough conditions, the republic has achieved virtually the unfeasible. The achievements clearly demonstrate that Uzbekistan – a prosperous state, where effectively addressed the issues of security of citizens, improving the material well-being, social welfare, cultural and spiritual development. The secret is simple: there is a huge industry of the people, creative and historical potential of our great ancestors, who passed their achievements and energy to descendants in the form of knowledge, experience, traditions and customs, national pride.
