Artificial  intelligence  is  one  of  the  most  incredible  and 

complex  inventions  in  modern  history.  It  plays  a  very 

important  role  in  today's  life.  Banking  and  military  systems, 

internet algorithms are now controlled by the AI. Its advantage 

over humans lies in efficiency and constancy. It is created to do 

a  certain  task.  And  this  task  is  the  point  of  its  existence.  Its 

processing powers are all concentrated on the goal. And if this 

goal is not achieved, then the AI is considered non-functional. 

Artificial intelligence is  conceived as  a very narrowly focused 

specialist.  More  effective  it  is,  the  better.  Nothing  more, 

nothing else. But since the AI was created, people were always 

wondering, what danger does it pose to us as a species. Movies 

like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Terminator, Matrix all show, how 

the  artificial  intelligence  rises  against  mankind,  which  leads, 

eventually  to  a  catastrophe.  Since  then  people  are  always 

cautious  with  the artificial  intelligence. Many scientists  today, 

like  Elon  Musk  and  Stephen  Hawking  warn  us  about  the 

potential  danger  that  the  artificial  intelligence  poses  to 

mankind.  But  is  it  really  that  way?  Is  it  so,  that  we  shall  fear 

this  astounding  invention?  Is  it  a  potential  destroyer  of  the 

human race? By exploring the basis of this technology, we can 

really tell what the AI truly is.
