CA accident and incident investigation

The objectives of an accident or incident investigation are to establish the causes of the accident or incident and to take measures to prevent them in the future. The rules for investigating aircraft accidents and incidents with civil aircraft in Uzbekistan (hereinafter - PRAPI) are developed in accordance with the air legislation of the Russian Federation, the intergovernmental Agreement on Civil Aviation and on the use of air space of December 30, 1991, taking into account the standards and recommendations of the Appendix 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation of 1944 (hereinafter - the ICAO Convention) and are the normative legal act of the Russian Federation governing yours elf in the investigation of accidents and incidents in civil aircraft.

The rules include definitions and classification of aircraft accidents and incidents with civil aircraft, establish the procedure for investigating aircraft accidents and incidents with civil aircraft of the Russian Federation and civil aircraft of foreign states on the territory of the Russian Federation, and the participation of authorized representatives of the Russian Federation in the investigation of aircraft accidents and incidents with civil aircraft of the Russian Federation on terror Torii other countries, taking into account these developments, as well as the development of recommendations and measures to prevent them.

An accident or incident with a civil aircraft of the Russian Federation or with a civil aircraft of a foreign state on the territory of the Russian Federation is subject to mandatory investigation in accordance with PRAIP-98. The investigation is carried out by a commission appointed in accordance with the procedure established by PRAPI-98.
