Abstract 
This article is devoted to the consideration of pedagogical aspects of social and pedagogical support of fostering leader 
qualities in professional training of conscripts on the basis of theoretical analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization of 
scientific sources of foreign and domestic authors. The specificity of professional training of conscripts is revealed, taking into 
account the increased stress of the military profession. This, in its turn, leads to manifestations of destructive forms of the 
leadership, which is associated with a specific character of the military context. The widespread use of destructive forms of 
leadership necessitates moderating the negative consequences of destructive leadership. The article considers the role of military 
parachuting in the formation of self-effectiveness of conscripts, which allows them to form leadership skills, stress resistance, 
motivation to achieve, and take into account the role of stressful and situational factors in the decision-making process in combat 
conditions. The article considers the definition of the concept of self-effectiveness of military personnel as a positive assessment 
of their ability to organize and perform actions necessary to achieve results, including in a stressful situation. The article describes 
the specifics of the impact of parachute training on the ability of military personnel to cope with stress in other difficult situations. 
Identified pedagogical conditions of socio-pedagogical support of training of military personnel, which include the following: 
organization of the real challenges, the content of which activates the skills of stress-resistance of the military, the modeling of 
military personnel in their professional activity by military parachuting, the formation of soldiers’ leadership skills which are 
adequate for their military-professional tasks, updating motivation on formation of professional training aimed at developing 
self-efficacy. The novelty of the research topic lies in a description of the specifics of Pedagogical aspects of social and 
pedagogical support for fostering leader qualities in professional training of conscripts based on the integration of foreign and 
domestic experience in this field.
