Conclusion 

Today,  many  foreign  tourists  come  to  Uzbekistan  to  visit  historical  and  architectural  sights, 

mountains, as well as parks, national festivals and other cultural and entertainment events. However, 

the country’s tourism potential is not being used to a sufficient extent. 

 

It is proposed to create the following free tourist zones in the Republic of Uzbekistan: historical 

zones in Samarkand, Khiva and Bukhara, natural zones Jizzakh (Zamin) and Namangan (Chartak) and 

other regions, tourist and recreational zones (tourist recreational zones) in the Central places of cities 

of Uzbekistan. 

In  addition, for the  development  of  tourism,  it  is  proposed  to  create  a  new tourism  program 

“Visit Uzbekistan”, which operates in two directions, namely, the development of domestic tourism, 

including festivals and other cultural and entertainment events, as well as the development of foreign 

tourism, in particular, based on the activities of tourism promotion centers established in other famous 

cities of the world. 

It  is  considered  necessary  to  expand  the  network  of  hotels  through  the  introduction  of 

information technologies, as well as the expansion of the network of travel agencies, training  highly 

qualified personnel in the field of tourism. 

Located in the most picturesque and popular tourist regions of Uzbekistan, tourist (tourist and 

recreational) free zones should offer favorable conditions for organizing tourist, sports, recreational and 

other types of business.
