the role that vocabulary development and instruction play in understanding 
what is read (NRP, 2000)[4]. 
Considering the number of new words students have to learn per 
course, this means teachers have to work it out. We all know that although it 
is important for students to use correct grammar and structures, words are 
the main carries of meaning. This means that the more words students are 
able to handle accurately, the better their changes of understanding 
English and making themselves understood.
To effectively acquire English vocabulary students must go through four 
essential stages:
First, they should find a new word in the text.
Secondly, they recognize the word for the second time.
Then, they recognize it later on their own.
Lastly, they're able to both recognize and produce the word. It is 
essential to make use of activities that target each of these stages; more 
often than not, we make the mistake of merely introducing new vocabulary, 
and we don't give students the opportunity to put these new words to use.

NON-STANDARD ENGLISH VOCABULARY

Abstract:
This article demonstrate that non standard English lexicology 
and give information about this kind of vocabulary in English. No language 
has any relation to society and cannot develop by itself outside of society. 
Language is, first of all, a means of communication between society and 
people, therefore society is a direct link between people and the formation 
of linguistic vocabulary. It is important to remember that language is 
important because it contains the laws of the internal education system. 
Depending on the situation, one idea in any developed language will be 
interpreted differently.
