Santa or Santa Claus

• Everyone knows from childhood: Santa Claus lives in the far north. In the New Year, he appears with his wonderful friends, gives presents, fulfills his dreams, and returns to his tower in the snow-covered forest.
• Visiting Santa Claus is every child’s dream. But not everyone knows why it is called Santa Claus in Europe and where Santa Claus lives in Finland.
• According to legend, the Christian St. Nicholas, known in Russia as Nicholas Pleasant, became his prototype. In life on earth, the saint helped everyone in need and was especially fond of the poor and children. He secretly left them presents to make them happy. The origin of this tradition: At Christmas, under the tree, everyone finds a gift from Santa Claus, because in Finland it is called Santa Claus.
