1.7 Precautions 
—— Do not place your hand beside the running gears of the wire feeder; 
—— If the risk of fire or explosion exists, it is necessary to acquire a special-purpose welding area 
before commencing welding; 
—— The welder can be used for HV application only after it has been safety approved;

—— Welding on special safety equipments must be performed by specially-trained welders. 
—— When the welder is lifted with cranes, chains or ropes are generally used as aid to lift the 
welder vertically as possible Before lifting the welder, move the gas cylinder and wire feeder 
accordingly.
—— When the wire feeder is lifted with a crane, it shall be hung and arranged in a insulated 
manner. 
1.8 General Safety Precaution 
—— Always observe the Operating Instructions for the welder. 
—— In addition to the Operating Instructions, two copies of the general accident preventative and 
environmental protective rules shall be prepared. Of course, applicable regulations shall be 
observed. 
—— All of the safety instructions and warning symbols on the welder body must be legible 
sufficiently. 
1.9 Safety Measures for Welder Installation 
——The welder must be horizontally placed and securely mounted on the ground. Welder 
turnover can result in personal injury! 
—— If the risk of spark or explosion exists, it is necessary to acquire a special-purpose welding 
area. Reference shall be made to the applicable international and national regulations.
—— Make sure that the working area is clean by applying internal control measures.
1.10 Safety Precautions for Normal Welder Operation 
—— Before starting up the welder, check that all protective means are in place;
—— Don not touch any parts inside the welder within 5 minutes after starting up the welder. Make 
sure that any person will not be injured when you start up the welder. 
—— Check the welder at least once per week. Check the machine exterior for any damage and 
safety functions.
