We definitely can employ social networking sites to enhance writing. Not 
only writing can be improved, but also other skills can be developed in this way. In 
fact, we already have Telegram groups where teachers share knowledge and books. 
In these groups, students do the tasks and send them to their teacher’s. Every student 
has accounts in at least one of the social websites, so implementing SNSs into 
language learning does not pose any problem. However, teacher’s lack of knowledge 
on technology, shortage of technological equipment, students’ cheatings and time 
management can prevent from effectively integrating the SNSs into Uzbek language 
classrooms. However, implementing Social Networking Sites (SNSs) can distract 
students’ attention to negative things, such as entertaining games or chatting blogs. 
Of course, students can develop writing skills, but if they write casual things in chat 
boxes, it does not lead to acquisition of more complex and sophisticated writing 
genres. 
In my opinion, these advantages and disadvantages are true in our context 
also. I think all the strengths and weaknesses of technology use in classrooms are 
counted above are true, but I can add one more advantage which is safety. In global 
pandemic situation, online learning can be very beneficial. Nowadays, we are 
experimenting online learning and teaching on telegram and zoom. We have a 
telegram group for our every class and there we share lessons, tasks and receive our 
students’ answers to the tasks. Sometimes, it is time consuming to review each of 
the students’ reply. However, students showed high interest for learning online. I 
think it would be beneficial to integrate technology in Uzbek context. 
I believe that initial steps are being taken. However, some time is needed to 
evaluate its outcomes. For now, teachers think that that technology takes a lot of 
time from teachers on the expense of family time. This issue can cause severe 
consequences in teachers’ well-being as well as motivation to teach. The excessive 
paperwork which is done sitting in front of a computer or holding a mobile phone 
can lead to teacher burn out. They can be feed up with the students’ and parents’
