UZBEKISTAN

UZBEKISTAN

Uzbekistan proclaimed it’s independence on the 31 August 1991 and since that time the life of our people has changed greatly. There are a lot of challenges for everybody and the life of the young generation is very interesting and exciting. Now there are so many national sport competitions like the Tashkent Open tennis championship held every year and the national Kurash championship these attract people from different countries to come and join young Uzbek sportsmen and women.
One thing is especially good for school children is that they have the opportunity to study their school subjects using new textbooks written in Uzbekistan.
The whole face of the country has become different. There are so many new multi storey buildings, banks , squares and other important sights.
And in almost every city, if you are in the centre, it is very difficult to tell that you are in the heart of Ancient Central Asia because many of the buildings are modern.
