For.ex:I’m not a doctor. I wish I were a doctor.(Men vrach emasman. Qaniydi vrach bo’lsam)
I live in a big city. I wish I didn’t live in such a big city.(Men katta shaharda yashayman. Qaniydi shunday katta shaharda yashamasam)
I wish I could drive a car. ( Qaniydi men mashina hayday olsam)
WISH FOR “PAST”
Form:S + wish (that) S + Past perfect
For.ex: He didn’t translate the text yesterday. He wishes He had translated the text.(U kecha matnni tarjima qilmadi. Qaniydi u matnni tarjima qilganda edi.
I wish I hadn’t stolen his motorbike.(Qaniydi men uning motosiklini o’g’irlamaganimda)
