So we can see modern urbanization amount consists of almost 8-10 percent of
developed countries total GDP in the world. Over the five years through 2017, revenue for the
Building Construction industry has been growing at an average annualized rate of 8.5% to

$1.99 trillion. There are about 27,000 construction firms in this industry, 26.000 in 2012

According to the figure above we can accept cement is the most consumption building
material in world construction market.
China used more cement in 3 years than the U.S. did in the entire 20th Century

GDP from Construction in Uzbekistan increased to 21588.80 UZS Billion in the
second quarter of 2018 from 3270.40 UZS Billion in the first quarter of 2018

In Uzbekistan a large number of manufacturers supply the building and construction market.
Some 65% of materials are sold into the building industry and 35% into construction.
In recent years, the country has started to produce new types of modern construction
and finishing materials that fully meet the requirements of advanced technology and
international standards. For example, various gypsum boards, dry mixes, modern coating
materials, heat-resistant polymer pipes, ceramic tiles, sandwich panels, basalt fibers and
fittings, heat-resistant materials and many others.
As for the modern approaches of manufacturing competitive building materials in the
construction industry there are following problems in Uzbekistan: Skilled Labor Shortage;
Rising Cost of Raw Materials; Slow Invoicing and Payments; Inadequate Planning; Lack of
Safety Training; Uncontrolled Growth.
Solution for above problems we would like to offer following challenges:
- improving operational management in construction manufacturing;
- cost and energy efficiency during production;
- ensuring technological modernization;
- extending the life of technologic equipment;
- gaining a competitive edge in the marketplace.
