Abstract
Abstract
The article discusses the issues of involved in creating a new generation of electronic
textbooks for higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. In the context of modernization of the
education process, it is expedient to use various information and communication technologies for
in-depth and comprehensive education of students. Understanding the gravity of the topic, this
study attempts to answer the question: of “How should we design the modern textbook?” In order
to examine the research question, a set of special surveys was conducted among sophemors and
junior year students, as well as seniors of 2021, in the areas of "Fine Arts and Engineering
Graphics" and "Technological Education". FurthermoreConsequently, a strategic direction for the
creation of electronic textbooks as well as the types of tasks that serve to ensure the effectiveness
of electronic textbooks in the educational process are proposed in this study.
Keywords: new generation textbook, electronic textbook, traditional textbook, variable
assignments, constructive assignments.
