Lesson 60: Do you like your uniform? 

 

The aim of the lesson: 

Educational: - to learn to name clothes in English; - to learn to describe clothes 

Developing: - to enable pupils to listen for gist; - to enable pupils to read for detail 

Sociolinguistic  competence:  -  to  raise  awareness  of  the  similarities  and  differences  of 

male and female clothes 

Linguistic competence: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to: - name clothes in 

English; - describe clothes; - use the article a/an in adjective + noun structures 

Equipments: textbooks, handouts, technical aids, a map of the world, a blackboard and 

a piece of chalk.
