Recruiting

is the process of attracting qualified

persons to apply for jobs that are open. Where do recruits come from? Some recruits

are found internally; others come from outside the organization.

Internal recruiting

means considering present employees as candidates for openings.

Promotion from within can help build morale and keep high-quality employees from

leaving the firm. In unionized firms, the procedures for notifying employees of internal
