• BACKGROUND December, 1998 – December, 2000 British Council, DFID, REAP
• Strong and effective links were established between the partner institutions in areas of continued support for programme development and implementation activities, information exchange, development and supply of teaching materials, as well as personal communications.
•  Faculty exchanges have taken place in the Project. Four Imperial medical students undertaking the Intercalated BSc Degree in Management visited Uzbekistan (self-financed) to research health reforms. They undertook collaborative research with staff from TashMI-2 and made presentations to faculty and students.
