Celebrity endorsement
is the process where a famous
person publicly uses or
recommends or is otherwise associated with a particular brand.
Product placement
involves paying for a brand to appear
in a film or TV programme,
in order to increase visibility (the number of people who see /
become aware of the
brand, and the frequency of their contacts with the brand) and brand awareness.
Synergy
is the process where two things work together to
produce an effect greater
than the sum of the two parts taken individually.
A
demographic
is a part of a population which can
be treated as a group for
marketing
purposes,
defined by, for example, age or income.
