Features of the development of modern science in the pandemic’s era: collection of scientific papers «scientia» with Proceedings of the I international Scientific and Theoretical Conference (Vol. 1)

There are the main methods of my work. 
I organized reading and group discussion of a Report to the Club of Rome «Come On! 
Capitalism, Short-termism, Population and the Destruction of the Planet» 
by Ernst von Weizsäcker and Anders Wijkman, co-authors in cooperation with 34 more 
Members of the Club of Rome prepared for the Club of Rome’s 50th Anniversary in 2018. 
Students shared with their opinions about this contradiction material. 
We discussed reality of implementation of these ideas in our countries. 
An author of article enhanced students to analyzing of advantages and limitations of 
Sustainable development goals (United Nations General Assembly). 
After studying and discussion students wrote propositions about social projects and social 
programs. 
Also they described ways of realization and implementation of their ideas on virtual desk 
Padlet. 
In our online -classes students worked in groups under their social projects. 
After receiving recommendation and explanation of life-circle of project and steps of social 
project they prepared two projects such as: 
1). Development of professional skills and competencies of disabled persons. 
2). School of social entrepreneurship and project management. 
This year is very active in the sphere of discussion of social tendencies concerning COVID -19.

At the club of social reading was presented book of
Fareed Zakaria “
Ten Lessons for a 
Post-Pandemic World” . 
An author of article involved students into social debates online after reading of this book. 
Due to reading of this outstanding work we learned about impact of COVID-19 on economy, 
social sphere, urbanism and human relations. 
I suppose that the comparative analysis of methods of social protection of vulnerable 
categories during pandemic period of COVID-19 is a very effective technology of development 
of critical thinking. 
During the lectures students got acquainted with peculiarities of using of such methods like 
PEST and PESTLE, SWOT –analysis in studying of processes of social sphere. 
We worked with these methods during learning methods of evaluation and estimation of 
social problems in local communities and in the process of discussions of manifestations of 
poverty in the world of pandemic period. 
Students made concrete propositions concerning of minimization of poverty in our country 
and with verified them with help of the lecturer. 
Discussion about the Universal Basic Income in different countries: advantages and 
limitations had great interest among students. 
During three week students worked at home at scientific analysis of a contributory pension 
schemes in different models of social policy. 
In online –class students received theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of 
carrying out of social expertise. 
They analyzed programs and projects of overcoming of poverty in our country from the 
point of view of social work. 
Students formulated recommendations for implementation of effective social programs 
according to the current social and economical situation and social indicators and outcomes. 
In November, 2011 an author of article organized reading and discussion of book of 
Slavenka Drakulic “Café Europa: Revisited. How to survive Post-Communism”. We analyzed 
chapter about medical insurance. 
Moderating of this discussion was powerful and useful for both sides of the learning process. 
Lecturer facilitated students for the conducting of the student research works concerning to 
the supporting of maternity or social protection of low –income families not only in the Ukraine 
but also in the countries of European Union. 
Therefore, these methods became effective tools of development of analytical and critical 
thinking for future social workers.
