Warm - up :
Teacher shows pupils 3 physical activities to do while listening to the song and plays the music.
Pre - reading activity:
Teacher shows some pictures and asks following questions :
1. What animal is this ?
2. Where can you see this animal ?
3. What can this animal do?
Teacher listens to pupils and explains them how to use the modal verb " can "
For example :
I can do
He cannot do
Can you do ? ...
While activity: Matching
Teacher gives handouts to each pupil .
Match the words with pictures.
Words: Pet, snake , soft , favourite, furry, feed
After this activity pupils read a small text .
Listening activity:
Teacher plays a recording which tells a small text . Pupils are given handouts and there is a text with gaps . Pupils should fill in the gaps using Vocabulary on the board.

Teacher divides pupils into two groups.
Pupils from group A make a sentence and tell it to the Group B one pupil should write the sentence on the board . Teacher and Group A check it and give Group B points . Then Groups change their turn .
