1. Use gestures and wait for all the children to open their textbooks. Check they have the correct page. Say: ‗Listen to the song and repeat.‘ Play the DVD. Ask: ‗What‘s the song about?‘ Accept anything reasonable, etc.

Say: ‘Look at Activity 2a.’ (Here is a wedding picture. Jasur introduces his family to his friend. He introduces his father‘ s brother: uncle Sherzod.) Point to the picture and show it to the pupils.
Then say: ‗This is Jasur‘s uncle. (Use gestures) He‘s tall and strong.‘ Say what ― uncle‖ , ― tall‖ and ― strong‖ mean in mother tongue. Enable the pupils to say the words ―uncle‖ , ― tall‖ and ― strong‖ , paying special attention to the sound [q]. Then ask: ‗Who has got uncles?‘ Elicit answers. ‗Is he tall?‘ Elicit answers. ‗Is he strong?‘ Elicit answers. Say: ‗OK.
Excellent.‘ Then point to the woman and show the picture to the pupils.
