Sifatlar asosan otlardan oldin kelib, ularni izohlaydi. Ularning ko’plik va birlik shakli bir xil. Ya’ni ko’plik shaklga ega emas.

Fe’llardan so’ng sifat ishlatilmaydi. Ammo quyidagi sifat talab qiluvchi fe’llar bundan mustasno.

NOTE: Odatda bir ot oldidan 3 dan ortiq sifat ishlatilmaydi.

Compare : His son is eight years old.

He has an eight – year old son.

Ex: a hundred – page book = hundred page’s book

a two – week holiday = two week’s holiday

a ten – minute walk = ten minute’s walk.
