2.2. Logistics activities at JSC "Uzbekiston Pochtasi".
Logistics is an activity aimed at effectively managing the flow of materials and improving the quality of service and maintenance while providing the lowest cost. It is the planning, monitoring, and regulation of all flows that flow through a material stream. Exactly - transportation, coating, internal processing, packaging, distribution of finished products, etc.
The Worldwide Post Logistic Chain includes a variety of operations that need to be performed to ensure a good user experience. An important strategic goal for the postal sector is to make the global logistics chain as efficient as possible. This means ensuring that the signal is transmitted from the point of delivery to the destination as quickly as possible, which results in a continuous and efficient response.
Customs services, airlines, law enforcement and security play an important role, allowing the postal chain to operate at maximum efficiency.
Customs services and airlines are the main partners and participants in the postal and logistics chain. It is very important that there is an efficient and effective interface between postal and customs services and postal communication and airlines.
The performance of a postal service is usually included in the number of mail lines, received, processed, transferred, and processed over a period of time.
Outgoing mail exchange consists of mail messages received from the mail service user to be sent to the address.
Incoming mail exchanges consist of mail messages sent to a mailbox for delivery to addresses.
Transit mail exchange is added to letters sent to the company from other mail service providers for processing and data processing.
A single production process can be divided into separate processes that are specific to each print and are completely hidden from them. This includes processing incoming, incoming, and transit mail messages.
The technical processes in postal communication are only concerned with the processing of material flows. The paper-based manual processing of data used in postal communication is inefficient, especially if large amounts of data processing is not required. Postal services, on the other hand, provide well-developed tools, and new management tools and data are required for effective centralized management. One of these tools is the use of these automated information systems.
The development of postal services in Uzbekistan requires the development of correct methods of their organization and the most efficient use of all modes of transport.
The following principles should be used in a single transport mailbox center:
- Implementation of control deadlines for the movement, processing and delivery of newspapers.
- ensuring the stability and regulation of the connection;
- integrated use of all modes of transport by mail;
- cost-effectiveness of mail.
They indicate through which nodes and in what vehicle the mail should be sent from the mail object, which allows the communication to be coordinated.
Mailing plans are divided into general and detailed parts. The master plans define the procedure for sending mail from regional post offices.
The following shall be taken into account in the development of general plans for the postal route:
- number of vehicles for each vehicle;
- the exact volume of transport, their loading with a seal at the initial and intermediate points;
- permeability of interchangeable objects;
- Scheduled mailing.
A logistics center is a center in a specific field, within which all work related to transport, logistics and distribution of goods - for both national and international transit, is carried out on a commercial basis by various operators. Operators can be owners or tenants of buildings and structures built here (warehouses, distribution centers, storage facilities, offices, truck services, etc.).
In order to comply with the rules of free competition, the Logistics Center, which gives access to all companies engaged in the above activities, must be open. The logistics center should also be equipped with all the facilities to carry out these operations. Where possible, it should include public services for staff and equipment for users.
The logistics center is the center of a particular region, where all activities related to transport, logistics and distribution of goods, both for national and international transit - are carried out on a commercial basis, by different operators. Postal logistics center logistics processes are carried out as a unit unit in various postal items. Given the global determinants of postal operators and the structure and characteristics of the technological process of postal services, logistics is a means of differentiation (as a logistics marketing tool) and rationalization (as a way to reduce logistics costs) are an integral part of a company’s business strategy. The process of transferring postal items from the sender to the recipient is determined by the cost and cost of services of the postal operator. Logistics indicators, efficiency, productivity and quality of logistics processes can be represented by appropriate logistics indicators and represent the results of individual logistics processes. Following a hierarchy of interactions, the impact of a postal logistics center on the same principle can be characterized by performances that are the results of individual logistics activities and processes. Logistics performance and postal logistics is a proposal for measurements of postal operations at the center, which can be the basis for internal control and foundation benchmarking in postal logistics.
The main features of postal services are reflected in the great demand of users to send postal items, and this effect is achieved through technological processes that create a physical movement of items in order to transfer them to the recipient. From an organizational point of view, the establishment of a single postal network (nationally and internationally), standardization of unique technologies and equipment for the implementation of postal services that require the market (provided that national operators also provide universal service). The structure and equipment of the postal network depends on the economic capabilities of operators, the volume of traffic, and in the case of a national operator, the government's influence on investment policy and the development of postal services is very impressive.
