Information logistics - simplifies the organization of information flows. Information systems provide material flow management using microprocessor technology, information technology and other components of the information process, achieve effective management of information flows.
Communication and information systems are an important element of the global reproduction process, and the overall goal is a set of networks combined with the processing, storage, transmission, and distribution of various data. They serve as a key part of the business process management system. Communication is an integral part of the rapidly evolving information industry at all levels, both nationally and globally.
Information logistics in the postal sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan is closely linked with all functional areas of logistics. JSC "Uzbekistan Pochtasi" constantly develops and uses automated systems that allow the population to provide high-quality and competitive postal services at an appropriate, modern level, using the latest technologies in the field of ICT.
Automated systems are being successfully developed and implemented around the world. They allow one person to do so much that several could do without them. Therefore, it is not only convenient for any company, but also beneficial to implement such systems. Uzbekiston Pochtasi JSC, a modern postal operator, was no exception.
Modernization of the postal network, development and introduction of new types of services on the basis of ICT is one of the priorities of JSC "Uzbekistan Pochtasi". Uzbekiston Pochtasi JSC has created a corporate network on the basis of which automated systems operate:
- Automated electronic money transfer system;
- Automated payment acceptance information system;
- Automated system for controlling the passage of registered mail;
- Automated system for receiving subscriptions, ordering and processing periodicals.
- GPS-navigation (international mail only).
A GPS navigation system has been introduced for 10 vehicles for the security of mail delivery and vehicle monitoring.
GPS-navigation allows truck drivers to reduce walking distance and fuel consumption, thus approaching planned economic and environmental performance.

Information on existing automated systems of JSC "Uzbekistan Pochtasi".
The following automated systems are used in JSC "Uzbekiston Pochtasi":
1. "Automated system of control of the passage of registered mail" developed by "Rebic" LLC and put into operation in March 2004 in the branch of "International Postal Service" and throughout the country in October, taking into account the internal exchange submitted. 2010. The system is connected to the International Automated System of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), through which EDI data is exchanged with PFU countries. This system allows you to register and track mail through the Community website. The program is managed by the operators of sorting centers and mail receiving and delivery points. The central database is located on the servers of the Company, the regional databases are located in the branches. Currently, work is underway to modernize the system software.
2. "Automated electronic money transfer system" was developed by "Fido Biznes" LLC and put into operation on December 1, 2005. The system allows you to exchange electronic money transfers within the country. Receipt and sending of internal e-mails is carried out in all postal institutions of the republic, only postal items sent locally, within a province or city. The system is physically located on the Company’s servers. The system is managed by the heads and operators of postal departments, supervisors appointed at the nodes and branches of the Company, as well as employees of the production department of the money transfer management center.
3. The “Automated System for Claim Exchange on IBIS Parcels” was developed by the UPU and commissioned in August 2010. The system allows the exchange of claims on parcels in electronic form with partner operators. Fulfillment of the established indicators gives postal operators the right to receive a salary in the amount of 5% of the incoming share of the tariff. The database is located on UPU servers. The system is used by the company’s complaints department.
4. The international financial system IFS is developed by UPU. JSC "Uzbekistan Pochtasi" joined the system in February 2011. The system allows international exchange of electronic money transfers. Currently, the exchange of international electronic money transfers is carried out with the following countries: Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan. The database is located on DUU servers and Community servers. Work with the system is carried out by employees of the production department of the money transfer management center.

5. 1C: Accounting 8.2 was developed by Unisoft LLC and commissioned on February 1, 2012. The system is designed for enterprise accounting and tax accounting. Automates the accounting of all taxes, performs time-consuming calculations, eliminates the need to manually create company documents. The system is physically located on the Community server. The system is managed by the chief accountant and other employees in the financial sector.
6. The automated system "Acceptance of payments" was developed by "Fido Biznes" LLC and put into operation on June 17, 2013. The system is connected to the settlement systems of Uzbekenergo JSC and Uztransgaz JSC (since August 20, 2015). This allows online input of information on payments received from the population for the supplied energy and natural gas. The system is physically located on the Company’s servers. The system is used by heads and operators of post offices, supervisors assigned to the Company's nodes and branches, as well as employees of the Company's financial sector.
7. The automated information system "PRIME" was developed by UPU and commissioned in 2014. The program is designed to share complaints about the search for correspondence by mail over the Internet. The database is located on UPU servers. The system is used by the company’s complaints department.
8. Automated system "Subscription" was developed by specialists of the branch "Tashkent Postal Service" and commissioned in 2014. The system is designed to automate subscription and cash transactions of postal operators. The system also allows for online subscriptions to periodicals through the Society’s website. The system is physically located on the servers of the Tashkent postal branch. The system is managed by postal operators, controllers assigned to the Company's nodes and branches, and employees of the Press Distribution Branch.
9. Automated system "Planning of routes of international parcels" was developed by the Tashkent University of Information Technologies and commissioned in 2014. The system allows the operator to quickly create a route plan by selecting the optimal route for each route of international parcels. The system is located in the Company. Managed by the staff of the post office.
10. Automated system "Hybrid mail" was developed and commissioned by BIZCOM LLC on May 7, 2018. This system allows online exchange of connected and operative information with the State Inspectorate for Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Public Services and the State Unitary Enterprise "Tashteploenergo". Electronic copies of traffic safety rules, various certificates of the State Service Agency and SUE "Tashteploenergo" are received in post offices through the data transmission channel, printed on paper, converted and delivered to the addressees through the traditional postal network .
