PROCEDURE OF THE LESSON:
Activity 4a Look at the title of the article in 4b. Answer the question.
Objective: to get PP interested in the next activity; to help PP develop their predicting skills PP read the title and give their
ideas about the theme of the article. You might want to write these ideas on the blackboard so that after they have read the article they will be able to see whose idea is the most correct

Activity 4b Read and listen. Look and answer the questions.
Objective: to practise readmg for specific information PP read the article silently and answer the questions
What kind of play is it?
What characters can you see?
What can you say about puppets?
Post – activity
Activity 5 Work in groups. Answer the questions.
Objectives: to practise talking about theatres for young people; to practise expressing opinions
In groups PP discuss the two questions. If time allows ask speakers from each group to report what their groups have said
Do you think the work of actors and actresses is important? Why?/Why not?
Do you think theatres for young children and young people are important? Why?/Why not?
