Aims:
Educational: -to learn about degrees of adjectives and the meaning of the story.
Developing: - to enable pupils to talk about the story and its characters;
- to enable pupils to use comparative forms of adjectives;
- to practice reading for gist;
- to develop listening for specific information and checking
their understanding.
Socio-cultural: - to raise awareness of reading and understanding the text;
Up bringing: - to enrich pupils’ knowledge of using and differentiating degrees
of adjectives
Learning outcomes: At the end of the lesson pupils will be able to:
- talk about the story and its characters;
- read for gist;
- use degrees of adjectives;
- talk about stories and good and bad sides of characters.
