CASA myHRER HAugE
The concept of Casa Myhrer hauge is a synthesis of bringing diffi-
cult landscape and regulation factors together. The factors being 
a river down the valley on the s-vest side of the site, with prohibi-
tions to build closer than 100 meters, and the partly closed river/
stream, that i found important to open up, make use of, preserve 
the nature, and bring the stream into the project as an important 
feature. Due to those issues, and the wish to enhance the impor-
tance between the stream and the project, the garage and the 
house are connected with a bridge floating over the landscape, 
not touching it, but bringing it into importance and meditative 
experience when entering the house. The nature will be brought 
back as natural as possible, as it was initially in this Maridalen 
forest, just enhancing the nature with simple means, with the 
treatment of the Stream. To emphasise the dialog between the 
woodland nature and the house, the back part is as well lifted 
from the ground on stilts (in dialog with the tree-trunks), allow-
ing the nature to flow through. The theme of the bridge is carried 
through the house, dividing the official parts as living room and 
dining room from the private rooms elevated on the second floor. 
The intended division with separated volumes, creates the great 
roof terrace, giving endless view over the Maridalen forest and 
adjacent forrests in cascades of green ever-changing colours.
