EXECUTIVE SUMMARY 
This report contains the detailed report of "
Sathikuriwa Luwagaun Chittekhola Brihat Lift WSP
" carried by 
Ink Consult Pvt. Ltd., Chakupat, Lalitpur, Nepal. The proposed project is located in Mandan Deupur 
Municipality-2, Kavre district. It lies in the Bagmati Province of Nepal. The project site extends over a large 
area and covers the 
Gairisamara, Thakurigaun, Kafleni, Naldum, Nayagaun, Mahankal-I and II and 
Dadhegaun 
communities. The nearest road is Nagarkot-Higuwapati roadway from the project site. The area 
mostly consists of hotel areas and some residential areas. The majority of the population of this area depends 
upon tourism and agriculture.
Regarding the technical features of the project, water from the source 
Cha khola
is diverted into the intake 
and pumped through electrical pumps in multiple stages. There are three staged pumps which finally convey 
water up to the main reservoir tank. The distribution is done through Intermediate RVT-2 located at 1940 
meters amsl and main reservoir tank located at 2055 meters amsl. Intermediate RVT-2 will facilitate the 
areas of 
Gairisamara, Thakurigaun, Kafleni, Naldum 
and
 Dadhegaun 
whereas the main reservoir tank will 
facilitate the areas of 
Nayagaun 
and
 Mahankal-I and II.
