Theme: Sports Day
II Aim of the lesson:

1. 
   Educational aim: To enable pupils to use the words about sport and the names of sportsmen.
   
2. 
   Developing aim: To develop the grammatical knowledge and speaking, writing, listening and reading skills of kids about sport, recycling the structures “I’m good at …” and “Football is at 5 o’clock” .
   
3. 
   Upbringing aim: To have children think about their future profession, to give general information about the children’s favourite sport in Britain and to teach the useful sides of sport.
   

III Method of the lesson: Interactive method (working in groups and in pairs), cluster.
IV Type of the lesson: Giving new material.
V Target language and structures: Recycling the new words and structure of previous lesson.
VI Required equipment: ICT tools, flashcards with the pictures and names of sports kinds, a poster.
VII Expected results:
Pupils can use the words about sport in their speech and they will be able to use the structures “I’m good at …” and “Football is at 5 o’clock” .

   Greeting: After greeting with pupils using the cluster method, in order to get pupils interested in the subject, ask them to complete the poster asking the date and day, and giving questions about the weather of the day:
   

What date is it today?
What day is it today?
What season is it now?
What is the weather like today?...
