COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING FOREIGN

Abstract:
This thesis describes the importance information and communication 
technologies in teaching foreign languages and what kind of ICT we can use during 
education.

The latest ICTs are taking more and more place in our lives. Their use in 
foreign language lessons (FL) increases the motivation and cognitive activity of 
students, broadens their horizons and allows the use of a personality-oriented 
technology of interactive learning of a foreign language.The use of information and 
communication technologies in the educational process helps to intensify and 
individualize learning, enhances interest in the subject, and makes it possible to avoid 
subjective assessment. Using a computer and digital educational resources in teaching 
English helps students overcome the psychological barrier to using a foreign 
language as a means of communication.Unlike traditional methods, when using 
interactive forms of teaching, the student himself becomes the main acting figure and 
himself opens the way to assimilating knowledge. The teacher acts as an active 
assistant in this situation, and his main function is to organize and stimulate the 
educational process. 
An effective educational process depends on a number of factors, andone of the 
most important is the way in which structure and content of the course. Modern 
Western experts in areas of education use the term "pedagogical design" to indicate 
methods, principles and approaches to design, structuring and filling of the 
educational course on ICT base[4]. 
Thanks to the development of technology and the active introduction of 
training in based on these technologies, there is an increase in attention to the 
problem of methodologicalsupport of this training format (e-learning) [2]. At the 
same time, an importantbecomes not only teaching methodology, but also
