The usage of video materials at English language

There are four stages in the structure of a video lesson for teaching oral speech::
1) preparatory - the stage of preliminary removal of language and
linguocultural difficulties;
2) video perception- development of information perception skills;
3) control of understanding the main content;
4) development of language and oral skills.
The fourth stage may be preceded by re-viewing the fragment.
To solve each of the tasks set, students must know not only
the general content of the video, but also remember the details, as well as be able to evaluate events, describe the characters, using words
and expressions from the speech accompaniment of the video.
The effectiveness of using a video in speech training depends not only on the precise definition of its place in the learning system, but also on how efficiently the structure of the video lesson is organized, how the educational capabilities of the video are coordinated with the training tasks. There are four stages in the structure of a video lesson for teaching oral speech::

3) control of understanding of the main content;

Chapter 2.Use of video materials in foreign language lessons.
2.1. The role of audiovisual means in the process of teaching English in secondary schools and their methodological characteristics .
Language is the most important means of communication, without which the existence and development of human society is impossible. In the modern world, knowledge of only the native language is not enough, so more and more attention is paid to learning foreign languages at school. A foreign language is a mandatory subject of the curriculum, it has been studied for many years, requires special teaching methods and skills from the teacher, but mastering it outside the language environment is very difficult. A lot of effort is required from the student himself, but most of it is given to the role of the teacher. In order to form a stable positive motivation of students in relation to a foreign language, in order to achieve the most optimal level of assimilation of educational material, the teacher should use non-standard forms of work, include new techniques and methods of teaching foreign languages in the learning process, and turn to new technical means of teaching.
Knowledge of a foreign language increases the level of students ' humanitarian education, contributes to the formation of personality and its social adaptation to the conditions of an ever-changing multicultural, multilingual world. In the modern world, knowledge of foreign languages is a necessity, and English is more popular, as it has the status of an international language. Based on the requirements for modern education and the need to fulfill the social order of educating a competent person, each teacher is forced to solve many problems in finding modern ways of learning, making it exciting and meeting standards.
Despite some progress (using the Internet, various programs, etc.), one of the difficulties of teaching a foreign language is the very limited ability to communicate with native speakers and use spoken language skills outside of school. Therefore, an important task of the teacher is to create real and imaginary situations of communication in a foreign language lesson using various methods of work. It is also considered equally important to introduce students to the cultural values of the native people. For this purpose, authentic materials - videos and various video materials-are of great importance. Their use contributes to the implementation of the most important requirement of the communicative methodology - to present the process of language acquisition as comprehension of a living foreign language culture; individualization of training and development and motivation of speech activity of students
A modern teacher is given the opportunity to use an extensive range of technical training tools, among which the most accessible and widespread, as well as universal, is video equipment, which allows you to use both listening and video support of educational material. It can be noted that the introduction of video to the learning process changes the nature of the traditional lesson, making it more lively and interesting. Also, the use of video in the classroom helps to expand the general horizons of students, enrich their language stock and regional knowledge.
It should be noted that a video is not just another source of information. The use of a video film contributes to the development of various aspects of students ' mental activity, first of all, attention and memory. While watching in the classroom, there is an atmosphere of joint cognitive activity. Under these conditions, even an inattentive student becomes attentive, because students need to make some effort to understand the content of the film. So involuntary attention turns into voluntary attention, and the intensity of attention affects the memorization process. The use of various channels of information input (auditory and visual channels, motor perception) has a positive effect on the strength of capturing regional and linguistic material.
Thus, the psychological characteristics of the impact of educational videos on students (the ability to control the attention of each student and group audience, influence the volume of long-term memory and increase the strength of memorization, have an emotional impact on students and increase learning motivation) contribute to the intensification of the educational process and create favorable conditions for the formation of communicative (linguistic and socio-cultural) competence of schoolchildren
The video has a rather strong emotional impact on students, and it affects the formation of a personal attitude to what they see. Another advantage of the video is the immediacy of the image of real reality, the special manner of communication of the presenter with the audience (if it is a TV program or TV show), the use of close-ups, unobtrusive presentation of information, colorfulness, the presence of a musical background. When you come into contact with what is happening on the screen, conditions are created that are closest to natural (the natural language environment is a set of speech and non - speech conditions that reflect the life, history, culture and traditions of native speakers in the facts of this language)
