OF ONLINE EDUCATION

To explore and discuss the anvantages and disadvantages of the world view of tar-
get online education.

First of all, we should know that what e-learning is. E-learning is a learning method that is based 
on internet. For several years it is becoming more and more popular around the world. And there are 
myriad number of people who support this method. Because, it is becoming widespread. Number of 
devices and technologies are created to learn on online mode. It is also created electronic textbooks, 
video lessons, quizzes, audio and video recordings, electronic worksheets, etc. And it is clearly ob-
served that number of CDs, DVDs and multimedia materials are producing more and more. In ad-
dition, in today’s globalized world e-learning materials are easy to find. Most of these materials are 
being uploaded into Internet.
It should be mentioned that there are both pros and cons of this method. There are number of 
people who found benefits from it. In spite of, it can be found that people who did not seem its effects. 
For these factor this article is being written.
In this article, I discuss these sides that are effective for someone and unbeneficial for someone 
else.
On the one hand, I want to share information about benefits of online education. 
Firstly, pupils have number of opportunities. For example, it is easy to attend e-lessons. For this 
we need only Internet access. In addition, it doesn’t require specific place. Although we are at home 
or in the street, it is possible to enter. 
Secondly, this method is helpful to understand. For instance, students are able to ask questions 
every time by phoning, messaging or chatting. They don’t need to visit for the teacher. 
Thirdly, it reduces costs maximally. To be more clear, there is no needs to pay transportation. 
Instead of transport fares Internet traffic may be bought. Additionally, pupils are not compulsory to 
buy textbooks, worksheets, pens and other educational items. Because, all of them may be completed 
by mobile phones, laptops, computers and other electronic devices. 
Fourthly, some pupils who are shy on working in the classroom among number of people can 
work under the freedom. Because, there is nothing that can bother them.
Fifth, e-learning is more comprehensive than traditional education. To clarify this point, students 
have a opportunity to read rules anytime and anywhere. To read the rules, paging the book is not re-
quired. They only need to have devices. It is importantly said that although pupils are not at home or 
classroom it is possible to read instructions or doing homework. 
Sixth, it is possible to pay for education. To complete payment students only need plastic cards. 
This let pupils to pay without coming educational places such as university, institution, school and 
learning centers. 
Seventh, teachers have more opportunity to control course members. Because all participants are 
displayed. And teachers always get aware of students. 
Eighth, pupils learn not only class information but also working with IT technologies. And this 
may be useful skill during their future. 
Ninth, participants will be more flexible. For these reasons that are mentioned above, online 
learning can be said beneficial and advantageous. These reasons may be a main factor for huge num

ber of people to follow online education.

On the other hand, it is possible to observe disadvantageous sides of online learning. 
First, e-learning may reduce social relationship between both learners and teachers. It can be also 
said that by the impact of electronic education both learners and teachers may become less sociable. 
Second, participants who have not enough knowledge to use electronic devices may suffer on 
doing homework and course assignments. This may be cause number of difficulties to comprehend 
topics. 
Third, this method may be reason for declining amount of face to face meetings. This situation 
may be main factor of decreasing working within a team ability. And this may effect on student’s 
future career. 
Fourth, some teachers may be unfamiliar with online education methods and technologies. By the 
effect of this they may be unable to explain themes.
Fifth, students may have lack of experimental knowledge from some kind of subjects such as 
chemistry and biology. During online lessons it is impossible to have experiments students them-
selves. 
Sixth, teachers and students may possess different slang and dialect. If it is that this is another 
reason that can make difficulties of comprehension. 
Seventh, some participants may have technical limitations, such as lack of Internet access, needs 
to fix mobile devices. These factors may cause absence of participants.
In conclusion, online education has its advantages and disadvantages, but it is most widely used 
offline education. Because it allows for easy communication with the teacher. For example, we have 
a lot of conveniences for students to study offline. In addition, all the conditions are sufficient for 
studying at the institute.
