ADvANTAGES AND DISADvANTAGES OF ONLINE LEARNING

ANNOTATION: 
The purpose of this article is to highlight the benefits or drawbacks of online
learning. How online learning has its own benefits for the new era of online tetaching.

Nowadays ,the technologies are developing day by the day, so educational system turns out tobe
modern, it is opening to study everything, everywhere, everytime. It represent an easy methodto 
achieveknowledge. Online learning is getting popular to universities also for learnerswho, cannot 
afford the time and money to take real courses. The number of students who, wants to studyhas de-
creased in the last few years, the question arises why ?
The reason is that people are becoming lazy. Online learning is the solution of it. People can learn 
about any subject anywhere, anytime, but everything has advantages and disadvantages, in that case,
online education.
In online education learners can save their hours which, will take time to travel destination. An-
other advantage of online learning is reduced financialcosts. Many students will not able to asking 
questions in class forfearing, but in online you will face to face with instructor, so you can asking 
directly without any constraint or fearing.
In addition , the biggest advantage of online learning is that learners will be more independent, 
for instance : In auditorium someone can help forcontrol works or something else, but in online 
education , will be did it by themselves, and I think , it can savepeoplefrom laziness, because stu-
dents will be searched it by themselves without someone’s helping. Also lastyear, people could 
not leave their homes during the pandemic , not only students, butalso those working in another
profession used it, we saw that , howonline education is usefull.
Worst disadvantage of online learning is having no electricity and internet facility in villages, so 
not everyone can join for online education.
One of the disadvantage of this education is the failure of the student to keep up with the edu-
cation ,as well as , the students lack of understanding of scientific topics correctly. In my opinion, 
students may not get greatly benefit the science oriented subjectslike: biology, chemistry, and physics 
as these subjects requireexperimentation which, may not be effective online.Also ,One more disad-
vantage of studying online is the lack of a specific schedule.
Inconclusion ,Online learning is more impersonal and requires a lot of motivation. It is not suit-
able for complex topics.There are other ways in which,children may be disadvantaged, for example,
as a result of a disability, ill health, literacy difficultiesand others.
