Discussion 
This study found that three hadith books were the main choice and were used in the study of hadiths in 
Malaysian mosques. The first 
al-Arba'un al-Nawawiyah,
also known as the 40th hadith. The second book is 
Riyadh 
al-Salihin
, and the third is 
Isryad al-Sari Bi Sharh Sahih al-Bukhari
. Interestingly, two books, 
al-Arba'un al-
Nawawiyah and Riyadh al-Salihin
, both of them are the results of al-Nawawi's writings, more widely referred to in 
the study of hadith in Malaysia. Whereas the third book is 
Isryad al-Sari Bi Sharh Sahih al-Bukhari 
by al-Qastalani. 
This book is a description of the hadiths of 
Sahih al-Bukhari
. The study also found that five „state mosque‟ used
