The amount of gluten in the grain was determined according to GOST 13586-
1-68, the crude protein in the grain was determined by the Keldel method of
nitrogen, by multiplying the value obtained by 5.7, the protein by the Barnesstein
method [2].
Results and their analysis.
Analysis of the experimental results showed that
while sowing dates had a significant effect on the field germination of seeds of
durum wheat varieties, the increase in the rate of mineral fertilizers did not have a
significant impact on this indicator. High-yielding varieties of durum wheat
varieties "Makuz-3" and "Krupinka" were sown on October 16 and applied

kg of fertilizer per hectare. 88.7%, which is 2.1 compared to the
variant planted in the early (1.10.) Period; 3.7 per cent, compared to the late (1.11.)
Planted variant, 4.2; Increased by 3.7 percent.
As a result of sowing periods and application of acceptable norms of mineral
fertilizers in the studies, the duration of the sowing-germination period of seeds in
field conditions was 8 days at 17.3 ° C and 7 days at 19.3 ° C. With the delay in
planting time and a decrease in air temperature, this figure was found to increase
from 9 to 17 days. According to the years of research (2017–2019), the total
temperature during the sowing and germination period was 121.8 to 138.4 ° C
during the sowing period on October 1, 119.7 to 135.9 ° C at the sowing period on
October 16, 1 and during the November sowing period ranged from 93.5 to 156.0 °
C.
Sowing dates also have a different effect on the total temperature during the
autumn growing season of durum wheat grasses. overgrowth was found. In the
variants sown on 16 October, the total temperature during the autumn growing
season ranged from 431.6 to 504.0 ° C, while in the late (1.11.) Variants it ranged
from 252.4 to 296.0 ° C, and in such a long period of time at low temperatures it
was found that sometimes the grasses do not fully germinate and do not
accumulate until the onset of winter frosts.
Our research shows that the effect of low temperatures on irrigated lands
varies depending on the type of factors - the climate of the region, the time of
sowing seeds, the amount and duration of mineral fertilizers, seed germination
conditions and the state of the plant at the beginning of winter.
Analysis of data from our experiments showed that sowing times and
fertilizer standards have different effects on the overwintering of durum wheat
sown in autumn, with wintering of plants in the variety "Makuz-3" from 68.9% to
88.2%, and in the variety "Krupinka" 83 , Ranged from 6% to 97.4%.
The lowest number of overwintering plants in the studied varieties was
observed in the control-fertilizer variant planted on November 1, while the
thinning of wintering plants in this period was 31.1% in “Makuz-3” variety and
16.4% in “Krupinka” variety. The winter hardiness of plants increased with
increasing the rate of fertilizer.

the variant planted on 1 November; 88.9%. The norm of mineral fertilizers in the
