In  the  second  half  of  the  twentieth  century,  food  production  in  the  world 

increased  sharply  due  to  the  process  of  sudden  increase  in  crop  yields,  known  as 

the  "Green  Revolution".  According  to  the  FAO,  world  wheat  yields  increased  by 

208% between 1960 and 2000 [3]. 

It is known  that  winter  wheat  requires  more nutrients in  the  soil  than other 

cereals, and the growth and development of winter wheat in the field is due to the 

lack  of  essential  nutrients  in  the  soil  -  nitrogen,  phosphorus,  potassium.  In  some 

types of soils, growth disorders  are  caused by  a  lack of other nutrients, including 

micronutrients [4]. 

In the cultivation of winter wheat it is necessary to choose the right amount 

of mineral fertilizers, as well as to ensure that they are given in a timely  manner. 

The duration of application of fertilizers has a significant impact on grain quality. 

Mineral  fertilizers  are  applied  under  the  plow,  before  planting  and  during  the 

growing season during harvesting, weeding and threshing. Nitrogen fertilizers are 

used  in  the  spring  growing  season  when  low-mobility  phosphorus  and  potassium 

fertilizers are applied as the main fertilizer [7]. 

Plant  height  is  one  of  the  most  important  indicators  of  how  favorable  the 

growing  season  is,  and  it  can  vary  depending  on  how  the  external  environment 

comes and the agro-technical measures applied [1].
