As seen from Table 3, G.711 codec has the highest packet size and the higher 
transfer rate. This is reflected in the higher throughput. The next higher throughput is for 
G.729. The G732.2 codec has the lowest throughput.

Figure 23 shows the packet loss variation.  There is no significant packet loss for 
codecs other than G.711. The packet size, as well as, the rate of packet transfer in G.711 
codec is highest. This results in some packet loss as the number of nodes increases. 
Figure 24 shows the variation of average delay across different VOIP codecs.
The values are very small and the pattern indicated is not significant. For all practical 
purposes, the average jitter is negligible for all the codecs even as the number of nodes 
increases
