прилаг-е отмеченные звездочкой имеют форму наречий с окончанием LY
It was early morning. – He got up early.
It is a daily newspaper. – He calls them daily.

Степень сравнения наречий
У наречий также как и у прилагательных существуют три степени сравнения.
К односложным наречиям и early, late, near ,high также добавляется окончание
-er, -est :
hard - harder - hardest
early - earlier - earliest
near - nearer - nearest
late - later - latest
soon- sooner – soonest(скорее всего)
Please hang the picture higher.

Tom arrived later than Jim. Jim arrived earlier than Tom. Anton arrived (the) earliest of all.

с наречиями двух или более слогов мы добавляем в сравнительной и превосходной степенях more, most перед наречиями

fortunately - more fortunately - most fortunately
Степени сравнения наречий quickly, slowly и often образуется 2 способами:
Quickly-more quickly- most quickly или quickly-quicker-quickest
Неправильные наречия(исключения):
well - better - best
badly - worse - worst
little - less - lest
much - more - most
far - farther - farthest (только для расстояния)
- further - furthest (иногда расстояние но в основном с абстрактными )
Tanya speaks Spanish better than you do. Who writes best of all in your class? He works best in the evening.

His brother treated him badly. His father treated him even worse. His classmates treated him worst of all.

The doctor told him to eat less and to exercise more.

Не имеют степеней сравнения Наречия места и времени (here, there tоday, tomorrow, yesterday back, whenever, whoever, now, very, before, , always, ever, never, usually, here, there и другие
It is not safe to go any further/ farther. (for distance)
Mr. A said that these toy pistols should not be on sale.
Mr. B went further and said that no toy pistols should be sold. (abstract)
Mr. C went furthest of all and said that no guns of any kind should be sold. (abstract)
NOTE : перед наречиями в превосходной степени артикль the не используется.
Jill was the first man to finish. (прилаг)
I am always nervous for the first few minutes of an exam. (прилаг)
Jill finished first. (наречие)
В утвердительных предложениях перед прилаг-ми и наречиям можно использовать much/far too
He spoke much too fast.
They walked far too slowly to reach the top before sunset.
Конструкции со сравнениями
as + наречие +as –в утверд предлож-х, as/so + наречие+ as – в отрицат предлож
He worked as slowly as he dared He doesn’t snore as/so loudly as you do
It didn’t take so/as long as I expected
- than используется в сравнительной степени:
He eats more quickly than I do/ than me
He played better than he had ever played
They arrived earlier than I expected
- the + наречие в сравнит степени……. the + наречие в сравнит степени
The earlier you start the sooner you will be back
The harder he studied the better he achieved
VERBS-глаголы
Есть две большие группы англ-х глаголов:
I. вспомогательные глаголы (auxiliaries – aux.):
to be, to have, to do, can, could, may, might, must, ought to, shall, should, will, would, to need, to dare, used
Вспомогательный глагол не имеет собственного значения. Он лишь характеризует время лицо и число смыслового глагола, используется для формирования отрицательных и вопросительных предложений.
II. основные глаголы(main verb):
to work to sing to pray
to betray to play to commemorate
to run to keep to feel
to finish to overcome to study
Основные глаголы -в предложении дают главный смысл
Например:
Do you play chess? He is listening to music.

Jones studies well. Jones doesn’t study well.
main verb aux. main verb
I am coming. Bill comes first.
aux main verb main verb
It didn’t matter. This project matters to me.
aux main verb
Was he waiting? Does she see us?
